Yeah....

Yeah... it's hard to find time to upload songs and such now with school, and I'm kind of losing interest so I might post only like a couple of times a month to keep you updated on songs I guess, you can request songs in the comments box if you want any, I'm willing to do requests anytime. Peace.

And The Winner Is...

To make a long story short, Billboard reports:

50 Cent - Curtis : 659, 682
Kanye West - Graduation: 930, 251
Dont beleive me?
Anyways, their going to release the 100% definate numbers tomorrow so I'll post if they are any different.

CURTIS VS GRADUATION PT. 2: THE BATTLE RAGES ON

The battle still continues, and Kanye is still coming out on top. As of September 14, Graduation has sold 781, 000 copies in the US, which is amazing for a rap CD (imagine he goes platinum in the first week!). 50 Cent is behind with 603, 000 copies I hear. No one has reported the worldwide sales as of yet. Sometime between tomorrow and Wednesday the final results for week one will be up so I will post those as soon as I see them.

CURTIS VS GRADUATION

I've listened to both albums now, and they are both great. They are arguably the best hip hop albums of 2007. On Curtis, my favourite tracks are Come & Go, I'll Still Kill, Peep Show and Fire. My favourite Graduation tracks are Flashing Lights, Everything I Am and Big Brother. Overall, I think 50 has more hits on his album, but still, they are very different and it is hard to compare. In all the polls people said 50 was gonna win. Well... The numbers for the first day are in. As Billboard reports, Kanye pushed 437, 000 units whil 50 only sold 310, 000. It's still pretty close, so let's see who ends up selling more at the end of the week.

The Post You've All Been Waiting For

So, today's the big day. I went and got both CDs right as soon as school finished. And their only $12.99 each, good deal. I'm listening to 50 right now, I haven't heard Kanye's yet, I'll give em both a good listen and review them tomorrow. Um, dissapointments -
1) The biggest dissapointment to me was that Kanye's album didn't include Bittersweet for those who actually bought it. This really pissed me off because that was the only song I was looking forward too. I had half a mind to screw buying his album and just download it. The cover is sick but his back cover doesn't include the track list so big dissapointment..
2) 50 is straight fire no complaints.
Other stuff: 50's CD has a song called Man Down, some words are censored and I'm not sure what the are, it's weird because they don't censor the swear words. His cover is sick, front and back. At the mall I went to, they said Kanye is selling TWICE AS MUCH as 50. Hmm.. Let's wait and see how this plays out. BTW for people who are ignorant and don't pay attention, 50 is NOT going to retire if he loses, he explained that, you probably weren't listening. So go buy the albums if you havent yet, they are both totally worth it. Peace.

BTW - 50 Cent & Kanye CLASH OF THE TITANS on 106 & Park!!!!!!!!!!

Info n Stuff

Sorry I haven't posted anything in the past few days, you know, school.... Anyways, not really much has happened since last Tuesday, here's what is just out and what to look for:

Groove Coverage has a new song out called Because I Love You, at least I think it's a new song, that's what it's saying everywhere. If you look for the extended mix of it you should be able to find an mp3 of it somewhere, it took me a while, I'll post it if anyone asks for it so if you want to request it, request in the comment box otherwise you can try and find it.

No Paradise is a song from Anti-Flag's upcoming EP. It has leaked recently but I have also heard that it was released along with certain copies of their last album so it shouldn't be hard to find.

Chamillionaire has released his new single called "The Bill Collecta" which features Krayzie Bone. It isn't as good as their last collabo, but then again, it's almost impossible to top isn't it? Well, the song is alright, I have to give it a while to see if it grows on me.

Lastly, I'm sure everyone knows what's going down tomorrow so there's no need to talk about it an more, I'm sure we've exhausted the topic. I'm going to get both right after school, I'm sure you will all do the same. Anyways I will try to keep you posted with the chart results if I can find them. Peace.

Don't Think About It!

So I finally got the movie yesterday, I know shame on me I got it a day late but I was hard to go on Tuesday because of school... first day... yeah.... Anyways I watched it yesterday also, and I loved that movie. Of course it is from the creator of Goosebumps (which, don't get me wrong, was one of my favourite series), and of course it is intended for kids so it obviously isn't scary or interesting in like a normal movie way. Still, it was great, I plan to watch it at least 2 more times this week. I didn't really like the music in it, it wasn't that great... Except of course for Emily's song, I loved that and I still listen to it. Emily was actually really good in it, and it was different, I almost had a hard time recognizing her except for her voice. She actually looks pretty good as a goth but I still think she looks better as a skater-ish girl. Codey Linley is in it also, (Jake Ryan for people who don't know the actors names). Also, it has Brittany Curran who was in Go Figure if you saw that movie, it plays on Disney it's about ice skating... and the bad guy is from the Saw series. Anyways, I loved the movie so you should all go get it if your either R.L. Stine fans or Emily Osment fans...

Also on a side note when watching the previews it showed the preview for Bring It On 4. I only saw number 1 I think, but I might watch this one because I forgot Ashley Benson was in it (Abby from Days of our Lives [that's my other favourite show besides Hannah Montana]). So anyways, I'm not sure when that's coming but you can check that out. No other news as of right now so yeah...

Some News

META NIGHT
I don't know if you all know but the new Super Smash Bros game will include Meta Night from Kirby. They have now officially confirmed this on the official site and they have some really cool pictures if you want to check it out. http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html

TRIAL ON HOLD
Ha, so R Kelly was supposed to finally go on trial this month, and quite a few years too if convicted. But once again his trial has been postponed, this time until early 2008 I hear. LOL, this guy will never go to trial. In the meantime, maybe he'll make some more Trapped In The Closet, I loved the new chapters, can't wait for the rest so we can find out what "The Package" is.

Bizarre Fat Boy CDQ

Here's the official single CD for Fat Boy, so it's perfect CDQ. I put it in a zip file, it has the clean version, dirty version and instrumental. Enjoy. And remember to go buy his new album, Blue Cheese m Coney Island on October 9th.

Cascada Endless Summer 2007

So the final version of Cascada's Endless Summer came out with Dance Mania 2. It's basically the same thing, only a little difference in the synth part and possibly in the mixing and mastering of the instruments and drums. Anyways, here's the official 2007 version of Endless Summer from Cascada's yet to be titled second album.

Back 2 School

So today, unfortunately, we had to go back to school. Oh well, let's hope it's gonna be a good year for school...hm..... but more importantly lets hope the rest of the year is just as good to us in the music and movies departments as the summer has been. Today, the DVD of R.L.Stine's The Haunting Hour Vol. 1: Don't Think About It is in stores so you can go pick that up. This is also the last Tuesday before the big day, next Tuesday, it's on! So far in all the polls people are saying that 50 Cent will sell more and me personally I can't wait to see. I will keep you updated everyday of that week with the # of sales as long as I can find them, and I'm sure everyone will report on it. So one week left to vote (and B5 was just a joke, there's no way they could sell more), so which do you think will sell more? 50, or Kanye?

Not Much...

So nothing really happened today, lets hope next week is just as good for music as this week was. So I saw Hairspray yesterday, finally, and it was the best! Now thats a good musical! If you haven't seen it yet go see it before it's out of theatres. It has so much big stars:
John Travolta (as a fat women), Zac Efron, Queen Latifa, Michelle Pfeiffer, Amanda Bynes ;) and even that guy from Click (Cristopher Walken) AND THAT GUY FROM SEINFELD AND KING OF QUEENS LOOOL!!! (Jerry Stiller)
In other news, I've been listening to the new Britney Spears tracks all week and I love them! I don't know what everyone is saying.. I love Cold As Fire, it's my favourite song of the week. And you can totally tell it's produced by T-Pain. And btw, fyi, the remix of Gimmie More that's going around is a FAKE, the T-Pain verses come from his song Bring Em Out.
So, besides that, summer is basically over :( but we have some interesting things coming up. The day we go back to school we get R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour Vol. 1 - Don't Think About It with Hannah Montana stars Emily Osment and Codey Linley. And let's not forget September 11th............

Sylver - The One

The eurodance duo Sylver is going to release a greatest hits album entitled, "Best of - The Hits 2001-2007". There is a new song they recorded for this to add as a new single and it's called "The One". It is a pretty good song from them, so here:

Come & Go (mp3)

OK, if you're wondering (and I'm sure your not) I didn't download the albums. I only have the songs that have leaked prior to the full album leaks, but I did actually get Come & Go from someone who downloaded them because I was dying to hear it. How is it? It's not what I expected - it's a little wierd with random singing and stuff. It might be like that because it's a clean version though, and they left out some parts, it might sound better when I hear the album version from the actual cd. Even still, I couldn't help but to find myself hitting the replay button everytime it finished. So here you go, the only mp3 I'll post from this and Kanye's albums unless there's a single or something after they come out, here's Come & Go if you don't have it already:

Bizarre - Fat Boy (mp3)

Okay, I've been REALLY PISSED lately that Bizarre's new single Fat Boy has been out for about a week now but no one has posted an mp3. I got so fed up that I went and ripped it myself, so here you go, enjoy!

JDiggz - Memoirs Of A Playbwoy (Possibly)

According to his myspace, his official website and amazon.com, JDiggz's long awaited album "Memoirs Of A Playbwoy" hits stores today. I havn't gone to check yet, as I'm saving my cash for 50 Cent's Curtis and Kanye West's Graduation, but I was definately planning to buy this album so you should all go and cop this one. Also have to show a lot of support, he's from my town, Toronto so yeah, go and buy this album and support T-Dot hip hop. It has lots of songs we've all heard and love like "Make It Hot", "Puush It Up", "With You ft.George", "Gimmie Dat", "I Just Wanna Party ft.Voyce Alexander", and the hit from a while ago, "Hypnotic".

Bizarre News

With a new album on the way (Blue Cheese 'n' Coney Island - Slated to drop October 9th), Bizarre's official website has been redone and many new tracks have been released. On the website you can watch a behind the scenes clip on the set for the video, download new tracks such as "Never Goin Platinum", and most of all, as soon as you load up the site you get to hear the brand new single "Fat Boy" produced by Jeff Bass. I would give you a link for download but it seems no one has ripped it yet and I don't have a audio ripping program on this computer so I can't do it, therefore I guess we will have to wait. No worries though, it should leak pretty soon as the video will supposedly be released tomorrow.

Emily Osment - I Don't Think About It

I know we've all been waiting for this song forever, so now it's out and I love it. She's such a good singer, it looks like all three of the HM stars are singers now (Mitchell Musso has a rap song out called Let's Go and a song where he sings called Wasn't Your Girlfriend). I don't know, do I dare say I like this as good as or better than Miley...? You decide. Listen here:

Everything's Magic

The new single from Angel's and Airwaves was evidently played on the radio today. If you go to http://www.punkdisasters.com/ they have a pretty decent rip of the song. I heard it and I must say, I wasn't such a fan previously but I can see this song doing pretty well, can't wait for a CDQ.

New Songs Talk

I haven't been posting so you probably all heard these songs by now so here's my thoughts:

Baby Listen To Me - Da Buzz : I think it's a good song, it's not as eurodance as we could have hoped but I like it because it's almost like a pop song.

Keep It Movin - Keke Palmer : I didn't think I was a fan because I never watched jumped in but I heard this song today and I love it. It totally R&B, unlike the rest of the stuff anyoen ascosiated with Family Channel releases.

Wadsyaname - Nelly : Nelly's new song that samples All My Life. Didn't we get enough of this when Chris Brown did it in Say Goodbye? Well I didn't like that track but I'm loving this Nelly track so make sure you check it out.

Pretty Handsome Awkward - The Used : I didn't know about them until Bird & The Worm but they are amazing and this is a really sick song. You get that pumped up rock feeling when you hear the chorus, it's a little different from the previous single but it's really good.

Designated Driver - Bow Wow & Omarion : It's a really good song to introduce their collabo album but I'm pretty sure it won't be the first single. I hope they put out a really good song for the 1st singel, something like Let Me Hold You.

I don't really know how many people see this site because it's kind of new so I don't know if it's worth it to post any songs, but if you want any of these songs just post in comment box... Also, I love trying to find songs so if you have a request for a song you can't get just post in comments and I'll see what I can do. Peace.

New Britney Spears Song

Here's a new ballad song from Britney Spears that leaked recently and is all over the place. It is supposedly from her upcoming album, and is rumoured to be title either "Baby Boy" or "Everyday".

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2

Yes, it's finally the day. So I watched the movie at the premeir on Disney Channel at 8:00 and I have to say.. IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was just as good as the first one, if not better. I loved all of the songs and how they fit into the plot so well. Ryan was actually pretty good in this movie finally standing up to Sharpay. I didn't know Chad and Taylor were together... (???) Besides that um Gabriella and Troy were awesome, I loved their duets especially at the end, the ending concert can almost make you cry, and Bet On It was awesome also. I spent the whole time during All For One trying to see Miley Cyrus because I read she makes a cameo and I thought I saw her so many times but it probably wasn't her because there is a scene where you can see her clearly, she's dancing next to this guy and she is wearing a bright green shirt. Anyways, loved the movie and since I catch timeshifting I'm going to watch it again in half an hour (at 11:00). So, I'm gonna be watching this all week, everytime it comes on as I'm sure all HSM fans are going to so, hope you enjoyed the movie as much as I did.

Trapped In The Closet Chapter 13 (mp3)

As I told you earlier, the new chapters of Trapped In The Closet are leaking. This is the only mp3 I'm posting cuz I'm not watching any others until I buy the DVD. Here's Chapter 13:

HSM 2 OST

So the soundtrack to High School Musical 2 was realesed today, I know, I know, it leaked a while ago but I'm a TRUE fan of High School Musical so I waited until today to hear the full thing. So, usually new cds take time to grow on you but right from the first listen I was enjoying this one. You can get the feeling of it just from the songs, it feels like you've already seen the movie (and I'm sure some of you downloaders already have...). Anyways, my favourites so far are What Time Is It, Fabulous, You Are The Music In Me, Gotta Go My Own Way, Bet On It and Everyday. The bonues track Humuhumunukunukuuapua'a I hear is not in the movie, which is unfortunate because this song is funny and I'd like to see the circumstances in which it was sung. Maybe it's in there, I don't know, but on Friday we'll have an explanation of everything and a better picture on the stories behind these songs. I haven't listened to the other 2 bonus tracks yet so I have nothing to say for them, but overall this is a good cd, which by the time we see the movie and understand more, may be as catchy and classic as the first one. So go and buy your copy of this soundtrack, it's in stores now and tune in to Family Channel on Friday at 8:00 to watch the premier of the movie. (BTW I don't post albums because you should really go and buy them.. and besides if you were only planning on downloading this album you probably have already so yeah...)

First Non-Music Post

So, if I had started this blog a few weeks earlier I would have been able to write about the great stuff this summer like Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows (great book), and The Simpsons Movie. Anyways, one of the things I'm really looking forward too is Super Smash Bros. Brawl so I check their site everyday as the update it daily during the week with new info. Today, they introduced a new character called "Pokemon Trainer", which is really cool so you should go check it out:

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html

Trapped In The Closet Is Back

After a LONG time, finally, Chapter 13 has been released. With the DVD of chapters 13-22 in stores August 21, the chapters are being aired on ifc.com. Last night I got to see Chapter 13, can must say, it was hilarious, and it looks like the whole plot is going to become much deeper. I, myself, am not going to watch any more until I get the DVD and can watch the whole thing, but if you want to check it out, here's the site:

New Ne-Yo Single

The word is that the third single from Ne-Yo's sophomore album is slated to be "Can We Chill". I bought this cd the day it came out, and right from the start I liked this song. I, however, must say that the choice of singles for this album was not as great as on the last album. If you remember, "In My Own Words", spawned the singles: "Stay", "So Sick", "When You're Mad", and "Sexy Love". The only great song on it that didn't become a single was "Let Go". With this album, right from the beginning the obvious choice for a hit single was "Make It Work". I truly hope that they are saving this song for later on, and that it will, indeed become a single. Anyways, here's "Can We Chill", straight from the CD.

Second To None

So the first time I heard these guys was on the soundtrack to WWE: Day Of Reckoning, with their song Superstars, which is a pretty sick track. Then, on Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park's solo effort, (under the alias of Fort Minor), Ryu and Tak appear on several tracks. Here is a new song from them, from thei upcoming album, Rocket Surgery. It also appears on the soundtrack for Transformers. The song features Mike Shinoda and is an alright song.

Kiss Kiss

If your getting sick and tired of Wall To Wall, here is Chris Brown's new single, Kiss Kiss ft.T-Pain. They start off as if they are hosting a radio station and then air the song. With T-Pain and Chris Brown alternating on the chorus, and T-Pain's voice box effect on Chris Brown's voice during the hook, it is an altogether pretty catchy song. I have to say, it is growing on me. So, if you don't already have this one, enjoy:

Liz Kay

So by now everyone knows who Cascada is and I'm sure many of you are big fans. Well, about a month or so ago I found a new song by a eurodance artist, her name is Liz Kay. Basically, she has the same production team as Cascada, (DJ Manian and Yanou), only it's a different singer, so I'm sure mostly everyone has this song already, but if you don't here you go.

Dissapointing News

So, I just stumbled upon some dissapointing news. I'm sure everyone has seen the final tracklisting to Kanye West's Graduation (see below). We were all excited a few months ago when Bittersweet, the long awaited collaboration with John Mayer finally leaked. Then we were all upset when we heard that it was not, and was never planned to be on Graduation. Well, as I was checking out the track listings, you can see that Bittersweet is included on the track list as a bonus track if you get the cd in Japan, which is not fair to all of Kanye's fans in any other country. Man, do I wish I lived in Japan right now... Anyways, we can only hope that they will allow Bittersweet to be a bonus track for all issues of the album.

1. Good Morning

2. Homecoming ft. Chris Martin

3. Stronger

4. Champion

5. Good Life ft. T-Pain

6. I Wonder

7. Even More Broke Phi Broke (Skit)

8. Can’t Tell Me Nothing

9. Drunk and Hot Girls ft. Mos Def

10. Evrything I Am

11.Good Night ft. Al Be & Mos Def

12. Big Brother

13. Graduation (Skit)

14. The Glory

Cascada Single Confirmed

Acording to Natalie Horler's Bebo profile, the confirmed new single from Cascada's upcoming album will indeed be "Endless Summer". This may come as dissapointing news, since we all heard this song a few years ago, at least they chose a good song though. The word is that they haven't redone it at all, which is weird, considering that when they released it as Siria, Yanou was not part of the production. Search Cascada on wikipedia to see the link to the Bebo profile confirming this.

Curtis VS Graduation

So, I'm sure that everyone has heard the news by now, that 50 Cent and Kanye West's third albums are both coming out on the same day. It should be exiting to watch who sells more, I'm sure this will be one of the most watched weeks on the charts this year. So, which one are you going to buy? Either way, be it Curtis, Graduation, or both, make sure to go and grab your copy on September 11th.

Hello

Hi everyone, so... I just wanted to try this out to see what it would be like... just gonna talk about music and stuff like that so enjoy
